Players of any level can join a faction, but there is a requirement of Influence of 5 or more to create a new faction. Players can only be a member of one faction at a time.

The faction leader can establish a faction headquarters (HQ) by purchasing a property from the HQ Property Agency.

Factions earn a daily income of bribes, payoffs and protection money from local colonists. The amount of PMU earned each day is based on the amount of faction reputation (1% of reputation total). Reputation pay is deposited into the faction vault each night at midnight Phiela Time (GMT -5). Records of each day's reputation earnings are available in the faction logs under the Finance tab.

Faction Permissions

  • Admin: Administrators have most of the privileges that Owners do. Administrators cannot demote or dismiss the Owner or other Administrators. This is the highest rank below the Owner rank.
  • Communications: The Communications permission allows the faction member to send a faction Dispatch to all faction members.
  • Diplomat: The Diplomat permission allows the faction member to declare allies and enemies with other factions.
  • Faction Control: This permission must be granted to the owner before ownership of the faction can be transferred, or before the faction can be disbanded.
  • Finance: The Finance permission allows the faction member to credit cash from the faction vault to faction members.
  • HQ Access: The HQ Access permission allows the faction member to access the faction's HQ storage.
  • Member Manager: The Member Manager permission allows the faction member to accept applications for new faction members and to dismiss faction members.
  • Owner: The Owner of the faction. There can only be one owner at a time.
  • Recruiter: The Recruiter permission allows the faction member to accept applications for new faction members.
  • Staff: Staff members cannot demote or dismiss the Owner, Admins, or other Staff members. This is the third highest rank in the faction. Staff do not have any specific privileges.
